After graduating from the Special Qualification Course, Mark became a Special Operations engineer sergeant and was assigned to the 1st Special Forces GP at Fort Lewis, Washington.

While spending almost 14 years in Special Forces units, Mark participated in operations in over 63 countries, many times engaging in hostilities to protect U.S. interests and preserve freedom so we can enjoy every day as Americans.

Mark became a U.S. government civilian employee as a security specialist in 2002 and served in The Netherlands, Alaska, and Italy until his untimely death on May 1, 2013.

Mark was a loving father, brother and son and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his faithful companion, Bo.
