I've recently started buying some of these on eBay. I think someone might recognize this one:

That's close, and I hope you didn't pay what I've been offered for the originals that I have.

There are 7 colors on them and the Lettering is much smaller . I'll capture my old Avatar and put it up for comparison, or scan a full sized image and post it.

They are VERY RARE !!

There is a good picture of it in Plaster's coffee table book. I'm working my way through it slowly -- I'm about half way through now.

Hey, I see Deathwatch's name on it, wonder if that one was made just for him?

LOL

I said the same thing on another board, leading to his "outing" by Colonel Murphy and others in the thread.

I can't seem to be able to get an image to attach. I'll have to try it from work.

That pic in John's book is of one of my patches, it's somewhere around page 150-155 area.

AND NO THAT PATCH WAS NEVER WORN BY THE ZZZZZ Dude !!

I love e-bay

but the "authentic" vietnam era SF stuff really grinds my chops sometimes...I can only imagine the chuckles that the FOG's get out of it.

The volume of stuff is truly remarkable, and it seems to be largely fake based on what I've learned from AM.

I've seen knives purporting to be authentic SOG going for 2-3K. I'll see if I can find an example and post it here.
