Curtis Terry, one of the originals.

I take the liberty to copy this notice from the SFA HQ:

Terry was a member of the 8240th Army Unit, the Special Operations unit of the Korean War. He served with retired BG Joe Ulatoski on a small island off the East coast of Korea at the mouth of the Wonsan harbor with a partisan unit that conducted raids on the area around Wonsan. He was an outstanding soldier, a great Special Forces Warrior...one to be admired.

I have been authorized to award the Korean Partisan Honor Medal and certificate to those US special operations veterans of the Korean War. I will send to Mrs. Curtis the medal and the certificate in remembrance of Terry.

Terry was also an original member of the 10th SFG and the 77th SFGA and long time instructor in SFTG in the 70's.

This is the fifth TAPS message I have received this week. The FOG ranks are thinning rapidly.It's good we have youngstersa like TS and TR and NDD to carry on the legacy.
