CH-47 crash in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan Apr 6, 2005 — A U.S. military helicopter crashed in bad weather in southeast Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing 16 people, including four American crew members in the deadliest military crash since the U.S.-led offensive began in 2001.

Jesus. There is a slight possibility a member here could have been on one of those two choppers. I'll only answer a question on this from a trusted QP, and I pray I am terribly wrong.

My prayers for the fallen, their Brothers and their families. RIP.

I just found out thankfully that I was wrong, but still grieve for those who gave all. May God Bless you all.

It was a pretty screwed up 48 hours. A couple of guys with red flashes dodged a bullet and missed the bird that crashed.

I'll refrain from posting anything until more details are public knowledge.

Blue Skies to those we lost that day. Had my name been in a different location on the flight manifest....
