We Must Have “One Religion” ???
The first "One Religion" has hit my radar.
Sounds really squirrely, but not improbable with Flynn..
Most of the MSM are dissing Flynn, but that's not new..
Anyone tracking?
Does anyone give a rat's ass?

MRFF Issues Open Demand to Mike Flynn’s Army General Brother: Denounce Your Brother’s Outrageous We Must Have “One Religion” Statement
Published On: November 14, 2021
In a stunningly outrageous statement last night on the “Reawaken America” tour, former 3-Star General and Trump sycophant Michael Flynn embodied the epitome of what MRFF has been fighting for over 15 years, proclaiming:
“If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion. One nation under God, and one religion under God.”
Michael Flynn was a 3-Star General, as are many currently serving officers who would agree with his theocratic, Christian nationalist proclamation — the kind of Christian supremacists that MRFF fights every day.
MRFF has not been “crying wolf” for the last 15-plus years, as more and more people are beginning to realize as former high-ranking officers like Flynn make their true loyalties known.

That's an interesting premise, which gets complicated in the US these days with all its diversity in religions, traditions and languages. Considering there are many factions in the various religions where would you start and stop? Can you have different religions who live by the same principles?
Maybe start by requiring all inhabitants of the US to speak English and no more catering to Dial 2 for Spanish.

Absolutely. I'm concerned about the gradual eroding of a person's right to follow their conscience, and not only live by it but be able to speak it. This "one religion" and the current administration's move toward limiting, or redefining, freedom of religion is alarming.

And the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights are intended to remedy that. The problem is that only functions as long as all the players abide by those principles.

Mikey Weinstein is the one of the last people I'd ever look to for insightful comments on the topic of religion.

There is a lot of truth to this quote from one of our Founding Fathers:
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. John Adams

I think that for the time being we are in deep trouble. The founding fathers were wise beyond their years.

Theologically the idea is not far fetched after all Christianity has been splitting like cancer cells for centuries....is it a divisive strategy by Satan? to capitalize on human fallacy to instill doubt in an institution? seems like it to me...It mirrors the evil of the Democrats division strategy.
England had one state religion
But totalitarian mentalities seek to impose their way of doing things upon others without regard for free agency

Uniformity can only be enforced through coercion.
But this only ever affects outward behavior, never the true man inside.
This is the fundamental difference between government and religion, and is why they must be separated.
Government is the stick which limits the worst behaviors, religion is the carrot that leads men to pursue the best behaviors.
When it comes to religion or any other belief system, there is a simple truth that is a fundamental understanding known well within this community:
Hearts and minds must be won.

First:
"Denounce Your Brother’s Outrageous We Must Have “One Religion” Statement"
Thoroughly gutless attempt at cancel by proxy. F U
Second:
Obviously this little pissant is a-skeered that Flynn's influence simply by professing his faith is more powerful than his 501(c)3. Another example of thin-skinned insecurities who seem to have never believed in or suborned themselves to something bigger than their ego. They treat someone who unashamedly professes faith as if that person threw acid in their face. STFU and move on.
Third: I would love to have them hear of all the vigorous debate that went on during the founding concerning whether there ought to be a religious test for national candidates in an election. "...lest Turks*, Jews, and Other Infidels find their way to places of High Office." Wheee-doggies, I'm tellin' ya there was still some duelin' goin' on once in awhile.
* vernacular in the period for Muslims.
