Seriously though, who didn't see this one coming? These "braces" are obviously intended to circumvent the need for registering short barrelled rifles under the NFA. It's such a blatant attempt to circumvent federal law, I'm surprised it hasn't happened before now - regardless of who was in the Oval Office.

Now, whether short barreled rifles should have to be registered is a different question entirely...
