20 years ago, chaos at Fort Bragg's Towle Stadium

http://www.fayobserver.com/military/...531e3b64a.html

"Fog hung over Fort Bragg's Towle Stadium in the early morning of Oct. 27, 1995.

Retired Col. John Scroggins remembers it clearly: the fog, the stadium lights shining on 1,300 paratroopers and the eerie, pre-dawn calm - shattered by the sound of gunfire.

The gunshots came from somewhere in the dark, around the stadium's oval track...."

&

"...Five Special Forces soldiers, running near Towle Stadium when the shots began, were eventually able to tackle Kreutzer and sit on him until military police arrived...."

What part of -

The premeditated murder charge came with a mandatory life sentence.

Requires an annual parole board to set him free? Lunacy! Let the little sh_t stain rot as dictated by his cowardice actions.

Capital punishment and the death penalty means nothing when it's not properly applied.

Yup. Let 'um rot.

That brought back memories. I think was out at McCall when that happened. Haven't seen big Tony since he left Virginia.

I remember that also. Thankfully there were SF soldiers doing PT independently in the area!
