Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Los Angeles closed by flood damage
Well, it rained like hell Saturday and Sunday and now the Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Los Angeles is closed until further notice.
Major problems here. There's a whole lot of transportation and travel along that particular corridor.

One escape route closed. About 5 more and AZ is safe.

Looks like there are a total of 13 crossings not counting I-15 which cuts trough the Narrows into Utah. You can't get here from there because of the very big hole in the ground up that way. Most of the crossings are so minor that they would become self-blocking.
Did you notice how easy it was to close the I-15 through the Cajon Pass last week?
