LTG Tovo confirmed as new USASOC CG

The following Army General Officer nomination was confirmed by the Senate on 3 March 2015:

Lieutenant General Kenneth E. Tovo, United States Army, for reappointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Commanding General, United States Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is currently serving as Deputy Commander, United States Southern Command, Doral, Florida.

He was a terrific CJSOTF Cdr about a decade ago. Came to my team's remote location more than once even though we were from a different Group. Down to Earth and good sense of humor...congratulations to him.
