I'm thinking it'll be Matt Leinart. Especially if USC wins the National Championship, the voters will be hard pressed to go otherwise.

I find myself in a quandary. As a Razorback I just can't bring myself to root for either Texas or Oklahoma. Having grown up in a USC family(Dad was a Trojan), it is very hard to root for UCLA except that my moms husband is a Bruin. Having done graduate work at SDSU eliminates the Utah option for me. So, having worked up an immunity to iocaine powder. I say Reggie Bush simply because he totes the pig well.

I voted for The President. I am surprised he came in 5th. Hard to blame East Coast bias when Leinart won, though. LOL

I always thought the best player in Div I football should win the trophy. I had A Peterson #2 since he obviously was very instrumental in OU getting to the dance. R Bush was #1 because he can catch, run, return, heck he even threw for a score. He does it all. People gameplan for him on every play.

Yeah, Leinhart makes very good decisions and works an excellent gameplan, but Bush was the driving force for this team.

Jason White was very important for OU, I will admit, but without Peterson racking up 200 yard game after 200 yard game he saved saved them at least twice from defeat.

Damn, can you imagine USC if they had Mike Williams? Holy smokes that kid would have probably also been a finalist.

On another note, I have now become a Washington Huskie fan. Notre Dame really screwed up firing Tyrone, but he landed square on his feet. I like Charlie Weis, but I was hoping Cleveland could have nabbed him. Guess us not having a GM in place scared him off. Oh well, there is always next year.

Prediction for the OU-OSU game: OU 37 OSU 31.
