Safety Warning

"A serious case of laptop burn was reported in a letter published in a medical journal two years ago after a 50-year-old man burned his penis while using a laptop balanced on his legs for an hour, despite wearing trousers and underpants."

Ya'd think he would have noticed the heat before damage occurred.

Maybe like the story about boiling a frog.

Hmmm, study must've been conducted before the Pentium-M, with a lower heat signature, designed for laptops.

In a former life as a management consultant I had a colleague who would regularly bring his laptop with him into the bathroom stall. Very distracting, listening to the tapping of the keys.....

Definitely, sir. Is the frog parable a subset of situational awareness, or is it the same thing?
