What I like about President Bush is his authenticity. I guess many thought he wasn't refined enough and didn't say all the right words.
But like this pic with one of the Wounded Warriors who rode with him, you can just see him stopping to ask, "So how does that claw thing work, and has it helped you lead a better life?" I envision Obama making one second eye-contact, slapping the guy on the back, and moving on.
In order to be a good President, he/she doesn't have to go around the country asking everyone how their claw works, but I'm more likely to listen to and follow a guy that seems down-to-earth and authentic. Because to me, I DO care how my claw works, or if I have a claw at all.
And if he messes up a few words, gets tongue-tied, or mispronounces the name of a country, I really don't care. I don't know why we nitpick our Presidents like we do. God knows how flawed I am....

It's not "us", but the state-controlled media who does it, and only Repubs are nitpicked. Dem POTUS's are glorified no matter how f.cked up they are.

Raise your hand if you think you will ever see a pic of President O running up a hill BEHIND a one-legged warrior, helping him achieve his goals.

I need to make sure everyone knows I was on a rant on Obama and not a true President as President Bush.
