Disney And The OSS
First time I've run across this one - a Disney design for a patch for the OSS OGs (Operational Groups) operating behind enemy lines in the style of all the patches they designed for ships, flying squadrons, the SeaBees (CBs), the WASPs, etc.

I will have to find it. But Disney made over at least 1200 insignias. I remember The Flying Tigers. Saw a, I think History Channel show over it.

VERY cool!
I was just reading about the Greek OG NOT having a unit patch....I guess they can lay claim to an overall OG patch done by some Disney Pros.

I've not seen that one, either. I wonder how much, if any, it was actually used. For instance, the 463rd PFAB had a Disney designed patch. A couple of dozen were made just before the unit left Rheims for Bastogne. A couple of guys got one before they left. The rest were left until "they got back." So only a couple were "issued" and maybe one is still around. Thanks, Richard

While it is fact a 503rd patch, it is a defacto 509th insignia.
