Well that is a good question. I don't know if we can, whenever conservatives get up in arms about something and win we consider it a victory, and settle down as if the war is over. The progressives just see it as a setback and keep plugging away. Then we get surprised when something else comes up. Each battle the societal norms have been pushed a little bit more to the left.
