Military Rec: Combat Cross Country meet will test endurance

http://www.fayobserver.com/military/...3554c9d30.html

"Fort Bragg soldiers will have an opportunity to test their endurance at the post's Combat Cross Country meet next month.

The intramural race, which is open to active-duty personnel assigned or attached to Fort Bragg, is scheduled Feb. 9 at Smith Lake.

Participants will have to traverse an 11-mile course in their ACUs or BDUs while carrying a 35-pound ruck sack. Competitors will be required to start the race with military-recognized headgear, but it can be removed during the race. Uniform tops can be removed during the race, and trousers can be unbloused...."

Sounds like something to do...
