Inside the Muslim mind....
Inside the Muslim mind of a Safafist Leader in Egypt
Islamic Feminism: Muslim Husbands Must Hate Non-Muslim Wives
http://frontpagemag.com/2013/raymond...n-muslim-wives
"...Otherwise what do you do with the undisputed texts [of the Koran], such as “Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred… “O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors…” [Koran 58:22 and 5:51, Yusuf Ali translation]. What do you do with such a verse? What do you do will all these verses?..."
The problem with moderate Muslims is they are not following the Koran.

How many
How many Christian Ministers will cut your head off if you don't?
But anyway - you can't follow all the verses of the Koran because all the "peace and love" verses have been abrogated by the "cut their heads off" verses.
So if you follow the "peace and love" verses and not the later verses you are an Apostate - subject to be killed by any "good Muslim".

I can live with the moderate muslims that do not strap on an explosive vest for their commute to work just like I can live with the Christians that ignore Deuteronomy.

My Copy
The Meaning of the Holy Quran
English Translation by Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall
1993
From the introduction
"...The Koran cannot be translated. That is the belief of old-fashioned Sheykhs and the view of this writer. The Book is here rendered almost literally and every effort has been made to choose befitting language. But the result is not the Glorious Koran, that inimitable symphony, the very sounds of which move men to tears and ecstasy. It is only an attempt to present the meaning of the Koran - and peradventure something of the charm - in English. It can never take the place of the Koran in Arabic, nor is it meant to do so..."
The mushaf that was used was a lithographic copy of the Koran written by Al-Hajj Muhammad Shakarzadeh at the command of Sultan Mahmud of Turkey in 1246 A.H.
I keep the copy on my work desk.

Good catch on the "abrogation" piece Most don't understand this construction.
My argument is that you CANNOT be a "good" Muslim and an American at the same time. Simply can't happen.

Define "moderate Muslim". Given that the Koran encourages lying to get your way, and (from what we are told) the "sleeper cells", how do you know that a "moderate Muslim" is moderate?

You don't see the difference between someone attempting to influence your soul with a creed and someone attempting to dominate your total lifestyle?

"Moderate" Muslim
There are great numbers of Muslims in the US who would consider themselves "Moderate" Muslims.
The only problem is that their very own religion considers them Apostates.
But that "problem" can be fixed once a greater number of "good" Muslims are in place.
For all you "moderate" Muslims out there reading this - IT AIN'T US SAYING THAT. We are just repeating what the Muslim leadership in the Middleeast is saying.

The scary part is that any muslim can change and be radicalized at any time, apparently without much notice.
So the first time you notice your neighbor, fellow soldier, or associate has converted is when he has a gun or a knife in his hand and is shouting "allahu akbar."

Moderate Muslims exist in all of the ME countries...everywhere. They stand by, go about their business, as the more 'involved' Muslims burn Church's , kidnap/rape/ force convert young Coptic girls.
They will not lift a hand or a voice against the more 'involved' Muslims as the more involved Muslims have scripture and Imams/Mullahs underwriting that action.
Moderate Muslims in our society look/act in a moderate way...they are the minority by far in this Judeo Christian culture and they know it.
They would act in a similar manner in the ME as those described above.
Pick any majority Muslim country and see how they treat non Muslims when they are in power.......lots of moderates there yet the killing/raping/acid burning/ etc. continues.
