This is too funny Doc T, I'm sending it to my direct boss....because that is his boss!

Oh my GOD, give the guy lots more energy and make him lots meaner and you have my RBWB (Raised By Wolves Boss).

The latest gem he uttered:

Upon telling his group what we need to get done for the quarter,

"You want job security? Go work at the post office."

... An honest reflection of the fact that our job security comes in 3 month increments based on quarterly results. This doesn't phase me since I've been to b-school and understand the math behind it. And because I understand that it's the truth not just because he's a meanie but because that's the way the treadmill of the economy works in some sectors. There's no layer of cush like when my dad was working. I like it though because it makes everything much more results-oriented. Blustering matters for nothing. It's what can you get done.

However, RBWB still freaks the more sensitive folks out when he says things like that. I get told once a month "I don't see how you work for him."
