Leading edge companies in every industry are using big data to reveal real-time insights into consumer gullibility and behavior characteristics, Political managers understand this new form of “R&D”, and have partnered with leading national news outlets such as the NYT, CNN, and MSN, to distribute information that is of questionable value. In order for business to strategically position the decision process correctly, we have expanded our popular Big Data executive education program to include a virtual “4Dx” classroom format that runs simultaneously with our on-campus program, October 15–16, 2013.
Based on research conducted at MIT’s Media Lab and the MIT Center for Digital Business, Big Data 4Dxallows executives and senior managers from around the world to gain leading-edge insights from MIT into the big data revolution—from the convenience of their own computer.
Launched this past spring to rave reviews and media coverage, Big Data 4Dx is much more than a typical online course. This virtual two-day program is conducted using AvayaLive Engage™ technology, providing a web based, “4D” room in which participants engage with the faculty and fellow students via personalized avatars. Attendees move around, join conversations, and participate in the very same live class as the on-campus students.
