I motion that this thread be moved to the Comedy zone.

Wild Turkey even tough I never pissed in anyone's closet.

I did punch someone onetime but it was after a few Budweisers and he deserved every bit of it.

Touche, Sir.

I always seemed to be the one that thought it was a bright idea to wrist rocket stones into a hornet's nest. There is just something about the thought process of the 18-25 year old male age group that allows acts of stupidity, for fun, to seem so attractive. YMMV--wait in this case its probably going to be my mileage. (A few feet if TS shows up)

I recently saw a young Soldier headed to the messhall with his motorcycle helmet under his arm. Naturally it was covered with irreverent stickers displaying what he thought was pithy wisdom. The one that caught my eye said "To be old and wise, you had to have been young and stupid". He was so into himself I lacked the heart to tell him it's actually "you have to have SURVIVED being young and stupid". Looks to me like you're still working on the "survived" part.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

I'll take one on. I'm going with The Reaper being a Jameson kind of guy when he was a young fiery soldier. Though they didn't have cell phones then. Or personal computers really.

.....there is an abacus joke here.

And thesis223, if your're going to commit to such fool hearty attempts at humor, be prepared to at least submit your .02 to the fray.

Edit: I was a good friend of Jack in my REALLY dumb days. So much so, that Mr. Daniels thought it would be a good idea to puff up to the Savannah Fire Department on ST Pattys Day.

'Fraid not.

Not a drunk caller.

Even if you did have to ring the operator to put your call through.

I am pretty much exclusively a bourbon drinker.

Tequila makes me want to crack some heads, so I learned to avoid that.

I called my 1SG from my house and asked him to take me to McDonalds one night. Needless to say I quit drunk dialing after that. And had a seriously bad Monday after said incident.

Shame on me. After 3 years here i should know better than to post something like i did and not put any skin in the game.

I can recall (barely) a time in Nawlins' when i stomached too much Stoli's and was found the next morning sleeping on top of a parked 18 wheeler, minus an eyebrow as well. Mardi Gras...... (we need a 'dizzy' Smiley for this post)

I notice Gin was not on the list. Even though there is no more refreshing drink in a hot, humid environment, I quit drinking it in 1972. After an evening of G&T's, I awoke under a table in a bar in Bangkok with a $250 bar bill and a bill for $500 for destroyed furniture. Or maybe it was the other way around. Gin....

That sir, is impressive. Best I've done is a $300 bar bill and waking up on the bench Forrest Gump sat on.
