Is anyone familiar with the "M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System"? My MP unit just got them and evidently the medics are being issued them for our upcoming deployment if we want them in addition to our M9. I am not familiar at all with them and had never seen one until yesterday at drill. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. I have searched under "M26", "M26 MASS", "C-more", and "Modular Accessory Shotgun System" without any success but if I missed something please redirect me.
I have found some Army press releases on the weapon system and a few articles from civilian gun magazines with a mixed or negative review but I was hoping that some of you on here had some more personal experience with it that you were willing to share. Thanks for your time and assistance.
