PBJ Racists

Was watching the O'Reilly Factor this evening and he mentioned a school principal in Oregon who has detected the subtle racism of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches:

"Verenice Gutierrez picks up on the subtle language of racism every day. Take the peanut butter sandwich, a seemingly innocent example a teacher used in a lesson last school year. 'What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?' says Gutierrez, principal at Harvey Scott K-8 School, a diverse school of 500 students in Northeast Portland’s Cully neighborhood."

Ms. Guttierrez goes on in the article to defend a Latino and black boy-only drum corps club thusly:

"Gutierrez denies that any students were turned away from the drum corps, and vehemently rejects any suggestion that it is discrimination to offer a club catering to minority boys.'When white people do it, it is not a problem, but if it’s for kids of color, then it’s a problem?' says Gutierrez, 40, an El Paso, Texas, native whose parents were Mexican immigrants. 'Break it down for me. That’s your white privilege, and your whiteness."

The madness and idiocy spewed by the progressive left grows by the day. I can't wait until I start having to attend mandatory annual Army training on how to apologize for being Causcasian...

Breitbart covered the company, Pacific Education Group, that provided the training program called Courageous Conversations

A telling quote from the PEG home page:

“At Pacific Educational Group we believe Systemic Racism is the most devastating factor contributing to the diminished capacity of all children, especially black children, to achieve at the highest levels, and contributes to the fracturing of the communities that nurture and support them.”

Their training program must be a hoot, if that is their default going-in position...

Madness...
