I remember all but the stamp/coupon hicky-doo's. As a younger lad (I'm only 30 now) while trying to dial in air waves via foil cloaked antennae, I had a radio that had a dead battery (I mixed batteries). I figured if the foil could attract power, I'd try some crumbled up foil for a battery. I got a few extra hours of cassette play out of it

Looks like a bright-dimmer switch to me. Not sure on the stamps.

Correctimundo; high-beam switch. The S&H Green Stamps got me my first camera; Blue Chip stamps got given away at the grocery stores & gas stations too back in the day, but S&H had it cornered because they had alot more in-the-area actual places where you could redeem them.

Flip up the lid and put in a flashbulb; great camera. Then I had to haul the wagon full of pop bottles up to the deli to redeem those to pay for the developing. (This is pre-Polaroid shit folks.)

The Etch-a-Sketch amused me all the way from CA to Tejas & back each summer when I got tired of lookin' for Volkswagens to count or reading Stuckey's billboards...

We didn't do the freezer-pop thing 'cause popsicles were 2 cents and we had an ice-cream truck drivin' around the AO twice a day.

This is in the Comedy Zone because....?

Wire seat cushions, TV Trays , steering wheel knobs, curb finders, Shake a Puddin, Fizzy Pops, sonic booms, http://www.funkyfoodshop.com/space-f...f419b32af.html those black cannon balls that were used as road markers, black and white road posts and clean mountain air. Thanks for the memories!

Agreed. The dimmer switch on my MGB would sometimes go from high beam to off. Try fixing that at night.

I'm in my 60s so I know them all and played or used them all to include the tin foil reception enhancing gimmick.

Here I thought the tin foil was a no-no for use in a micro wave oven.......... Shows my age I guess.........
