Military awards on Ebay?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/America-plea...2#ht_1922wt_93

What is with guys trying to sell their military awards on ebay? Someone has bid $3800.00 for an AAM? I have seen a few medals on ebay but without the background story. This just seems a little wierd to me.

Whats even better is that he must be auctioning his certificate and substituting some other medal (I'm too lazy to look it up) because it isn't even an AAM in the picture that was on Fox News Seen Here.

Alway the Bargain Hunter

I decided I wanted my own--for my amazing performance on a recent deployment to Fuzzy Tacos.

I found the certificate here for $19.95

and the CORRECT medal here for $19.75

All for less than $40--much better than eBay
