The trouble with fire suppression systems is you really do not know if they work until you actually have to use them. The pictures are incredible. Where I work (refined fuels loading facility) we put the fire system in manual before doing any hot work, no one wants to have to clean up this kind of mess.

I've seen this several times @ DFW! One time @ AA, the hangar doors were open and a "Hot APU Lightoff" belched into the hangar and tripped the system. Foam was flowing out onto the ramp and the wind picked it up, turned it into GIANT balls of foam and they rolled across the airport!! It looked like something from Ghostbusters!!
