It's an election year in Texas...
Here in Texas, there is a town called New Braunfels down on the Guadalupe where there is a large German-speaking population.
One hot day, a local rancher was driving out to check on his livestock and noticed a man using his hand to drink water from a metal stock tank next to a windmill.
The rancher stopped, rolled down the window of his truck, and shouted, "Es ist schön, Sie zu treffen...aber trinken Sie nicht das Wasser! Die Kühe haben Scheiße drin!" **
The man shouted back, "I'm from New York and just down here campaigning for Obama/Biden! I can't understand you! Please speak in English!"
The rancher smiled and yelled, "Use both hands, friend!"
And so it goes...
Richard
** "Nice to meet you! Don't drink the water. The cows have shit in it."
