Yep, if I was a hitman, that's what I would use as a cover, Olympic marksmman. Yep

OK, I read the whole damn thing and can't figure where the hitman allegation came from. It simply seems like the guy got hold of pre-NFA unregistered weapons, kept quiet about 'em (you really don't have any other option) and that the the ONLY assasination insinuation came from some BS comment from a clueless ATF agent.
Crappy journalism at its finest, and proof that federal gun control laws aren't just ""to keep guns out of the wrong hands" but too often used to create new criminals out of otherwise law-abiding people. NOw apparenlty reporters can't wait to join the character assasination bandwagon.

It's all horseshit. He's an Olympian, not a terrorist.

For telling war stories to his wife, pissing her off, and some sort of violation of the 1934 National Firearms Act.

If those were all "Non-Papered" illegal Title II weapons and cans, I can't believe that they only hit him with 36months !!! They usually push for 10 yrs and $10K per violation !!! The audio isn't matching the video in all of this,

I don't understand why we have an ATF. Anyone in favor of keeping it around?

Ostensibly, tax revenues.
I am with AM, he should have gotten a lot more than 36 months with a liberal judge and a violation regarding Class III weapons.
