I was interested when researching Murfreesboro, TN,
as that is an area where we wish to retire (
when we get really old). They have “approved” a 15 acre Muslim Cultural Center in this relatively isolated and small area.

I did a little more inquiry, and discovered mosques are in “small town” America – everywhere,
but especially in the “Bible Belt”. In some areas of the South, there are more mosques than Baptist Churchs.
