POOL REPORT

President Obama arrived in Phoenix at 3:15 pm local time, finding the chilly weather of Iowa giving way to sunny skies and temperatures in the high 60s.

He stepped off Air Force One at 3:28 pm and was greeted by Gov. Jan Brewer. She handed him a handwritten letter in an envelope and they spoke intensely for a few minutes. At one point, she pointed her finger at him.

Afterwards, your pooler spoke with the governor.

The REST of the story is a must read. Waiting to see if it bubbles up in MSM somewhere.

I laughed my butt off when I saw this on the news earlier. Jan Brewer is a firecracker!

fox and Drudge . . . oh my.
I'll wait for a few locals to chime in about Gov. (but I'm glad to hear Arizona is right side up with Spring Training getting closer and closer and closer (but not close enough).

Now some might be hurt by what I'm about to post and I'm sorry you feel that way, but nothing seems more false and less genuine then, "I said I was 'sorry he felt that way but' . . . "

I tend to walk away too. If MRFL or BCMU says, "I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, but . . . "
Well!, that's different! Gimme a hug; how can we fix this?"

seriously, we have got to lose that phrase.

I'm glad Jan feels that way.

Funnier still if she would have started poking him in the chest.

His familiar expression and body language was that of a husband trying to dodge a spousal bullet, as it were.

She should have used knife hands to point with instead.

Better manners.

That could foster a cottage poster industry. OK, where are the graphic artists?

There was video but they just didn't happen to catch the finger pointing. Oh, they've got it (as you will see in the raw video, one camera was in the perfect spot) but they won't release it. Wonder why?

http://www.youtube.co/watch?v=_mRhJw...7dFOAAAAAAAOAA

Could it be that they won't be able to attack Gov. Brewer and Arizona? Randon lefty:"Hell, I'm surprised she didn't pull a gun on him."

A little reminder...

Compliments of Merriam Webster...

Quote:
re·pub·lic noun \ri-ˈpə-blik\

: a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law (2) : a political unit (as a nation) having such a form of government
