Brothers for Brothers Memorial Run
After consulting the proper authorities (resident QP), I was told to post this here.
ATTENTION FAYETTEVILLE, NC AND BEYOND...
Many of you may remember the Memorial Run for MSG Mitch Young last year. His survivor, Robyn, has organized, with the help of others, another run and expanded it. The amount of donations of money and items for auction is heartwarming. Please come out and show support and your gratitude to our Fallen and Wounded Warriors. You don't have to have a motorcycle to do this run....cars are welcome too!
Brothers For Brothers
Charlie Mikes Pub is proud to sponsor a poker run and auction on June 13, 2009 in Memory of MSG Mitch Young and all the brothers lost or wounded.
Proceeds will benefit The Wounded Warrior Project and the United Warrior Survivor Foundation.
Registration will begin at Charlie Mikes Pub at 1030 am.
(located at 195 Starpoint (off Reilly Road, Fayetteville NC)
First bike out at 12pm; last bike in at 6pm.
1st card at Charlie Mikes
2nd card at Legends Pub
3rd card at Special Forces Association
4th card at Aviators
Last card at Charlie Mikes
Auction begins at 7pm
50/50, Food, Giveaways and Door Prizes

Hi Everyone,
I spoke with Robyn Young over the weekend and let her know that I posted the above "flyer" for the Brothers For Brothers Run on June 13th. She was very happy to hear it. She is looking forward to a big turn out and meeting you all.
Many thanks in advance!

bumped to keep reminding those of us with short term memory issues.
Again, this event is open to everyone who wishes to support our wounded and fallen soldiers and their familes.

Just remember where your "BARSTOOL" is...duh!!!!
and Snaquebite says, "Ask your wife" ROFL
Seriously.... We really hope to see as many of you out there as possible. Bring your money too... everything that is auctioned..the funds go to helping our Warriors and their families. Even if you don't ride, you can come hang out or do the poker run in your car. Showing up to show support is the most important part of all this!
PLEASE remind your friends that are not on this site.
Thank you!

Spoken like a true geographically challenged officer........ yeah, you knew that was going to resurface again...... perhaps one day, the true story of how you left 3hrs behind us, yet were 80 miles ahead of us at one point will be released for the general public dissemination.
I'd draw you a strip map, but you'd be lost as soon as you pulled out your compass....
I'm out of town and will be there in spirit with you guys.. Ride Safe !!!

I just past the ride on my way home from the gym. Did the heart good to see everyone out there riding for fallen heroes. If I can get the kiddos down at a reasonable hour, I might drop by Charlie Mikes for a beer tonight.
