Political Philosophy 101

My personal political philosophy and - just maybe - a little something to brighten your mood on a gloomy news day.

Very nice. A sentiment, perhaps, to remember in the days to come. Thank you.

Playing for Change

I had the opportunity to hear this performed live last October in New Orleans at a Starbucks conference. Yes, Starbucks flew everyone in that video to New Orleans to perform, and then gave the DVD to everyone in attendance. It was fantastic.

The video is part of a broader project called "Playing for Change." And you can read about it here: http://www.playingforchange.com/journey/introduction.

If you want to buy the DVD/CD you can do so on Amazon.com. Or, starting this coming Tuesday, 4/28/09, you can buy it at Starbucks.

FWIW, I am not getting paid commission for this. I just think good music (good art for that matter) should be supported, and there seems to be some interest/appreciation here. As far as I can tell Playing for Change is a good thing. I apologize if I am out of line.

Back to my corner.

After being reminded this morning of world affairs and the shennanigans of the Miss USA fiasco, this vid was just what I needed.

Thank you for posting.
