PCS move for National Guard?

I am about to begin airborne training and then on to Ft Bragg for SOPC. I have a question about the move to Ft Bragg. I know that what I can bring to SFAS is incredibly limited, but I am unsure about SOPC or anything after selection. I know the move to Bragg is considered PCS, but I am in the Guard and was unsure how that worked for soldiers like myself. Am I able to bring personal items to Bragg, and if so, what do I do with them when I ship to Selection? I know that I will be living out of a ruck for the next long while, but I am totally unsure of what in general my living conditions will be for any phase of my training but Selection. It would be nice to carry at least one small personal bag if and when those things (i.e. cell phone, laptop, a few clothes) are authorized. If not I'll need to ship my bag home from Benning before I leave. Thank you for all of your help.

You need to use the search button. We have talked about PCS moves to Bragg in the past and have answered numerous times that NG soldiers are treated the same as AD ones... You will find out what you will need for SOPC and all of the follow-on training once you get there.

Worry about the 25 meter target first.

Don't you have a car to put your personal stuff in or a friend at Bragg or in the area?

Boy - things have sure changed since the days when we moved with everything we owned in a duffle bag (clothing/equipment) and a kit bag (med books and such).
