A very striking monument.
Interesting that it didn't get any press, tho.

My advertising background does not like this piece of work.
The positive/negative space (shape) is suggestive of "something".
Beware of gifts from adversaries.
Sorry, I have to call it like my eye is trained see it.

I'm going out on a limb here...
If the "something" is referring to this looking like ... I see it..I see it...
But it's just like the typical monsters in movies they always have "that" look. Think of the Predator for example.
Causes me to wonder..is that a result of an artists obsession or demonizing the "something"?

When I first saw it, it reminded me of those chrome or latex covered apparatuses which many ranchers have hanging from the trailer hitches of their pickups here in the Western US. But I thought it was just my having grown up around cattle, sheep and such out here where such a sight is commonplace. Guess others noticed that, too.

Ya gotta keep a close eye on them Russkies. As my Drill Sergeant used to say to us on the rifle range, "Ya gotta shoot low, boys, them Russkies will be crawlin' in on the bellies of reptiles!"

I immediately thought along the lines of a specific "lady part" (review it with that in mind) but I was trying my level best to be rated "G" in my reply .
Being in Texas I have seen my share of the truck nutz usually accompanied by the naked female form and the "Git r done" bumper sticker to round out the "I'm a guy" statement.

My wife said I can't buy those to put on her truck! Makes sense, I guess. She didn't bat an eye the first time she ate Prairie Oysters.
