Bang Stick
Anyone ever heard of a Flash Bang Stick?
Basally you can attach a FB to the end of this Stick and command detonate it. Obviously you cant pull the pin then elevate the stick thru a window or anything else because of the short delay. We can build something that will pull the pin from the other end. But want to know if there is any prefabricated already on the Market. Money is no option, we want the best out there.
Thanks in advance

I haven't used this brand but it's a production one. The ones I've used were made in the "shop."

Wallbanger
If money is no option, and you can use command detonated bangs, this is a very good product http://www.thewallbanger.com/ . Our team does not have one, but I've been to some demos on it. It comes w/ an attachment used to blow doors open, and also a sturdy spike for using w/ windshields, windows, etc.
Our team still uses an adjustable pole w/ a pull strap that attaches to the pin. Works well for height and through windows, though command initiate would be the better way to go.

Problem with that is the Operators would have to carry two different types of Bangs. Good concept thou. But we don't have the room or time to carry different types of distraction devices.
Distraction devices aren't only used for throwing into rooms. They work real good for just shocking the Hell of of someone you want to take down in the open.

I went to a POST Certified Tactical Team Leader Course and some agencies without an explosive breaching program are using that system (wall banger).
We also use bang poles, I'll have to look at the pole to find out who makes it.

Hartzco,
Might you enlighten us in the proper deployment of a bang pole? I hear looking directly at the bang at the end of the pole when you pull the pin results in temporary loss of vision. I'm sure you dont want to lead around a 250 pound armed blind man during an operation after they make this error....hypothetically speaking of course.

My "eyes on" lethal cover seems to take his job too literally!
kgoerz, good point about other uses of bangs. I deployed one just outside a driver's door on a felony type traffic stop recently to distract on our approach. We've also used the bang pole in training on vehicles, lying it across the roof and deploying it near the windshield. Pretty cool to see a burnt and inverted windshield, and i'm guessing a pretty dramatic distraction.
In buying a bang pole, I've noticed that most of the home built ones are actually sturdier and better built. Make sure it comes with (or you add) a hefty shield on the front side of where the bang attaches. Pushing ours through glass, ceiling tiles, and other home materials is really wearing on it.
