On a slightly different note...

I have a great deal of respect for Thomas Paine; his book "Common Sense" was intregal to rallying the revolutionary fervor in the colonies. His second book "The Crisis" written during the trials of the revolutionary war were inspiring.

But I think he really got it very wrong on some critical subjects.....the French Revolution and religion for instance.

Definitely refreshing to see this guy speaking what is *actual* common sense, as opposed to the politically correct sense that overrides sanity these days. I think it's been viewed 700k times? That needs to be more like 70 million views. We need to start rallying... but I'm not sure how much of a solution can be obtained from simply calling the congress, unfortunately. I hope this isn't America's last hurrah

If you are referring to a deeper discussion about Thomas Paine...No, your correct. Ill leave it be.

If you are referring to what the individual had to say, I thought that the vast majority of it was right on target!

I did have an issue with the characters statement concerning the war if it is meant to apply to Iraq or Afghanistan.

But overall a 98%!!
