CSM Mark Davis

I am in the process of rereading CSM Davis's book, Razor Sharp Leadership. In it he mentions a book he read as a young trooper about the WWII British frogmen. Anyone here know CSM Davis and have contact information? I am interested in finding out the name of the book he referenced as I am a Combat Diver & student of SOF history.

On worldcat.org, I found quite a few books fitting the parameters of WWII British frogmen published at least 15 years before the published date of Razor Sharp Leadership (1999).

The most likely candidate would be The Frogmen: the Story of the Wartime Underwater Operators. It was published in 1950 with a second publishing date of 1975. It is not available through any libraries in the US on the worldcat system, but it is for sale through powells.com (my preference) and amazon.

There are other books but they generally refer to specific operations, ie Slapton Sands/Exercise Tiger.

I find the Alibris search function works well and generaly will find a great price on used books. I have use them a couple doz times and each book has been in near new condition.

There are several sources for the above book listed, starting around 15 USD, plus s&h.
