Drunks

[BMT (RIP)]

A drunk was making his way along a creek where a preacher was holding and old time baptising.

The drunk blundered into the water and ended up near the preacher.

The preacher asked if he wanted to find Jesus and the drunk said he supposed so.

The preacher grabbed him and pushed him under the water.

When the drunk came up spluttering and coughing the preacher asked "Did you find Jesus?"

The drunk said "no," and the preacher gave him another dunking.

He pulled the guy up again and asked if he had found Jesus. "No," repied the drunk.

This time the preacher took a good hold and held him under the water till he almost stopped thrashing.

Up came the drunk, coughing and spitting and visibly shaken.

"Did you find Jesus?" asked the preacher. The drunk looked fearfully at him and between gasps asked, "Are you sure this is where he fell in?"
