Sgt. Peralta recommended for MOH

I just came across an article in our local TV Guide, that the History Channel is doing a feature entitled "Act of Honor"
this evening, Saturday - 5/19. For those of you who may or may not
know Sgt Peralta was killed in action - saved fellow marines by
covering a grenade, in Iraq, November 2004 during the Battle of
Falluja (sp?) and was a member of 1/3; this story is about him before
and during his time in the Marines.

I don't know if this is a repeat show or if it will be on in your
locality this evening so if interested check your local listings.

I understand that he has/had been nominated for the Medal of Honor;
but have not seen or heard any decision.

There was discussion, albeit it was some time ago. If and when it gets approved, I am sure the discussion will resume.

Good to go.

My younger brother is in that same Bn., served with/new the man. Currently in the sandbox "somewhere".

We're all hoping the Gov. does right by this one. Standing by to stand by...

Either way, WE know the sacrifice was just and the Sgt. upheld his commitment to our Corps and Country.
