Good for them. I don't care if his Presidential aspirations are history the record on JFK still needs to be set straight.

Good. I wish them all the best in this lawsuit.

I get the feeling the POS is going to try to run for POTUS again.

Pardon me if I seem rude but to me "JFK", John Fitzgerald Kennedy" was the president who officially recognized us for what we were and were about to become. To refer to a traitor as "JFK" bothers me.

BTW: Does Special Forces still place a wreath at the foot of JFK's grave every year on the anniversary of his death? I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when he was shot.

No way he could take Hillary's shot, even were she caught with a live boy or a dead girl.

She will be at the top of the Democratic ticket in 2008, and the Republicans do not currently have a good opponent for her.

This worries me greatly TR. I think more so than the candidate choices from the last Presidential election....

It'll be retired a military man who promises to bring the troops home "with honor", i.e. McCain. His running mate could be Gen. Meyers. I don't know an ything about his politics but he certainly is an impressive figure -- IMHO.

The Republican leadership at the national level has failed.

They should have selected their 2008 POTUS candidate and run them as the VP in the last election. I like the VP, but he brought little to the fight and has no future.

The most likely candidates are RINOs and are unlikely to appeal to the conservative base. I think Condi would have been a great VP, could be a good POTUS, and is an excellent choice to defeat a Democratic nominee in 2008. This all depends on her success as Sec State and desire to be a candidate.

Just my .02, YMMV.

TR I couldn't agree more. I appreciate the VP as well, but the (saying this as gently as possible...) lack of farsightedness for the 2008 election really has and continues to concern me. I also wish President Bush had chosen another. I can understand (partly) why he stuck with the VP...but.

While I don't want our Military in harm's way any longer than necessary....this isn't a war with a forseeable end either, I would be worried with a candidate that wants to pull our Troops too early.

I apologize for the slight thread drift but a part of me expects the VP to retire due to "health reasons" at some point in the not to distant future. His replacement would then have a leg up on the rest of the field.

I apologize if you thought the JFK reference was out of line. It was meant not be derisive to the original JFK but towards the man who spent his entire adult life trying to transform himself into the second coming.

More often than not, when JFK is used...most people think of John F. Kennedy. Poser Kerry doesn't even deserve to have the same initials.....

JPK as in John Phuking Kerry Works for me.

No apology necessary but Gypsy is correct. For most there is only one JFK.

I always thought that was comrade Kerry name. I thought his comrades in hanoi named him phuku, a Bac Biet name in recognition of all he did for the NVA war efford.
