Respectfully requesting information on E

I'm currently AD Navy. Looking at getting out, going home to MS, and going to 20th Group. I'm either looking at 18B or E. (Assuming, of course, that I am given a choice...) My dad has given me a basic rundown on B. But what exactly does 18E entail? I currently work comms for the Navy, though I'm sure E would be completely different...but I do understand the antenna theory, radio wave propagation, that sort of thing...if someone could give me just a basic rundown on what to expect, it would be very much appreciated.

If you go to www.professionalsoldiers.com you will find a listing of all the SF MOS' and a good description. You will also find more of the same on this topic.

The search button here really does work.

Edit: I just went to the bottom of the 18E topic and clicked Show All Threads. You might want to try that.

Communications is both a challenging and rewarding field. Go For it. There is plenty of info on the 18E thread as well as qualified people to help you with your questions.

Anyone can shoot but not everyone can communicate!!

Q-
Commo and shooting - that's the mark of a great Echo. Had a couple of sniper qualified E's while I was in.
