Ahh, that brings back some bad memories.
As of now, I develop a cardboard allergy every peak season.
After getting involuntarily promoted for awhile, I managed to finally secure the position as the backup driver for my feeder list (“feeder” is the term we use for tractor-trailer operations at UPS).
During peak season, I’m forced into that department.
Between work in that department and carefully selected vacation, I’m staying out of the little trucks for most of November, all of December, and most of January.
But I do enjoy blasting that song on the tractor’s stereo, while fine-tuning the climate control.
A quarter century of seniority has its benefits.
