I can see why - I think Adams though, was sympathetic to the Indian cause but lost initiative when Governor Troup called out the state militia, preparing for Civil War. I’m not up on American Indian history as much as I should be, but I know this for sure, Adams knew Islam and he certainly knew “Islamic Jihad”
