I think (but do not know) that there are types of mistrials at least to the extent that one could let the DA have another crack (because he's hosed right now) and another kind could preclude such a thing ("with prejudice" ?).
SJW/Antifa are going to riot regardless; Chauvin conviction on Floyd didn't really mitigate anything nationally. All verdicts = riot for them.
The defense & judge are suspecting same thing. DA is on a short leash right now with defense motion on that still pending.
