While there is no argument at all that we have people in government that are unworthy of their positions, I cannot be so sure that they are all idiots.
Hanlons Razor says, “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity”
-Hank Johnson expressing concern that Guam could "
become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize" is one such example of idiocy vs malice.
-Brandon telling a guy in a wheelchair to stand up and take a bow - is idiocy.
-A politician giving a speech and saying, “
We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created … by the — you know — you know, the thing" is an example of stupidity.
The problem is - Hanlon's Razor doesn't cut all that deep...
-Politicians lying about a video as the cause of a US ambassadors violent death is not an example of incompetence; it is a demonstration of absolute malevolence.
-A cabinet Secretary discussing such a brutal murder of a US Ambassador by saying "
what difference at this point does it make?" Is absolutely malevolent.
-Hiding a server that is being used to transmit SAP over an unclassified network and then willingly and deliberately destroying the evidence is not stupidity; it is the definition of malice.
Finding a way to produce hundreds of thousands of votes during a period of time when the ballot counters were reportedly "
taking the night off" is not the act of a an idiot. It's how cold calculating extremists go about the business of consolidating power and taking away your rights and liberties.
Things like Benghazi are only there to distract you from how badly you are getting fucked by those living comfortably inside the beltway.
