I have never heard of that particular decoration.

I do know that a MSG Ned Lyle picked the Korean Unknown soldier from a group of four caskets in 1958.

The bayonet is an important symbol of the Guard for the Unknown Soldier.

MSG NEd Lyle was awarded the DSC while saving his unit from an attack by North Koreans. He used a bayonet to charge a machine gun nest and capture it, thus being able to turn that machine gun on the North Korean attacking force thus saving his unit.
