My best piece of advice is to reiterate TR's point of making sure you have a schedule on UNpacking. Taking things out of a house is easy... but it's also awful easy to, when you arrive, just say, "Aw, we'll just unpack those boxes tomorrow" before you go take a nap.
(Then they end up still in boxes a year later.)
