Ray-ban G-15 sunglasses, C-rat can, Long range rations, very worn jungle boots, possible green wool socks, sunglasses placed neatly on leg no sunglass case or string holder. He looks as if he's not sporting any socks.He's been in the field maybe 3-4 days (beard and clothes tell this story), he's not a newbie, he's been in the field before.
He could be an Eagle Scout or a soldier. I'm guessing soldier by the mere fact he tucks in his shoe strings back into his boots.
I'd say 60's-70's.
