While it was viscerally enjoyable watching the kid getting berated while just sitting there taking it, I think I would have preferred for the interview to be an actual interview, where they didn't attack him, but rather let him spew his ignorance. Then, after putting all his cards on the table, they could have systematically proven how each and every one of his points was foolish conjecture.
