I'm not from Texas, nor have I ever been stationed there; however, I had relitives that I used to visit in Dallas. On my visits to them we visited most of the major Cities in Texas.
San Antonio, quickly turned into my favorite city in Texas! The Alamo, the River Walk area. The other place I enjoyed was Galvaston, stayed in a hotel right over the surf and had some great seafood at the place with the big crab in the roof.
