THIS BULLSHIT is EXACTLY why i don't do Foerign Legion, VFW, DAV etc.

Oddly, had a friend who had a get together at the local DAV. I have DV plates on my car. I go in, order a beer-
"Are you a member here?", I put down my VA card, Life SFA brass, and my VA card - that should do it...

"No cowboy, I asked if you were a member here, like, filled out an application, have a sponsor, paid your dues... we don't care if you are a disabled vet or not, gotta be a member here to order from the bar or have a member do it for you"
