There are no political solutions
This whole thing as nothing more than a humiliation ritual, of which republican'ts have been subject to since the 60s. They get riled up, send sternly worded emails and then go back to the couch and wait for the next humiliation ritual to begin.
We cannot vote ourselves out of this.
